Year of Active Ageing Monday, January 9, 2012 - 11:48
2012 is the EU year of Active Ageing and solidarity between the generations. NIACE Dysgu Cymru starts the year with a seminar of invited experts discussing how celebrating the year will encourage activity of benefit to the citizens of Wales.
Chaired by Professor Danny Saunders OBE, Head of the Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Glamorgan and with a keynote address by Alan Hatton-Yeo, Director of the Beth Johnson Foundation, we expect the discussion will be thought provoking and will lead to a paper intended to inspire others to take action. The paper will be available on the NIACE Dysgu Cymru website in early February.
