WCVA Gateway Engagement Programme Monday, September 5, 2011 - 11:29

NIACE Dysgu Cymru has been successful in bids to deliver three Engagement Gateway projects from 1st August on behalf of the WCVA to the total value of £240,000. NDC will work with its network of partners to engage with and inspire 750 individuals from the target groups the convergence area (West Wales and Valleys), and 760 individuals across the competitiveness area (East Wales).  In the third successful project, NDC will work with Carmarthenshire Learning Festival Group partners specifically, to reach out to and engage with 370 hard to reach economically inactive people in Carmarthenshire. 

All three projects will provide 3 inspirational campaigns of bite-sized tasters which will enable participants to progress onto further learning and volunteering opportunities, which will motivate and inspire economically inactive participants to achieve the outcomes set out in each project, which will end on 30th June 2012.

All the above projects have received financial assistance from the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Engagement Gateway is managed by the WCVA.
